What is h07 cable used for? difference between h05 h07 cable
difference between h05 h07 cable was the voltage rating, (500V vs 700V). Let VGCABLE introduce What is h07 cable used for? difference between h05 h07 cable.

1.What is h07 cable used for?

H07RN-F applications: heavy duty trailing rubber flexible cable used to power electrical appliances and building sites. Resistant sheath means it can be used in refrigerating installations.

2.h05rn-f cable specification

Cables H05 RN-F are used for medium mechanical stress in dry, moist and wet environments, in industrial works for example for boilers, heaters, hand lamps, electrical appliances such as drilling machines, cicrular saws as well as mobile motors, machines on building sites and in agriculture. Cables H05 RR-F are designed for low mechanical stress in dry, moist and wet environments, for general use in habitable rooms, kitchens, offices for connecting appliances that are exposed to low mechanical stress (cleaners, electric toasters, coffee-mills etc.). These cables are not suitable for permanent outer use in industrial or agricultural workshops or for connecting appliances not used in households.

3.difference between h05 h07 cable

H0X describes the intended use of the cable ( and in most cases it tells you something about the materials used for the jacket ) - H07 RN F is heavy duty oil resistant, flexible rubber jacket cable..  This is the type of cable that should be used at outdoor gigs in all kinds of weather.. This is also the only type of cable that is legal to use on construction sites, travelling funfairs etc*.
the main difference between HO5 and HO7 was the voltage rating, (500V vs 700V).  I've got some 1.5mm%2 HO5 RNF but I just use it for stage power, 13A extension leads etc.  Otherwise yeah, HO7 RNF all the way.
The difference in cost between H05 and H07 is neglible if you buy in bulk, so there is no reason to get H05.
